Membership in KAAP offers you a voice! Our members help to shape the future of the profession through their work in comittees and volunteer leadership. KAAP works to advocate, inform and provide educational opportunities to members!
As a KAAP member you'll get:
Different types of membership:
Professional Individual: Individuals who are credentialed as alcohol and drug counselors, gambling counselors, counselors who represent special populations, prevention-focused professionals and those retired from the profession.
Student: Individuals who are enrolled at least part-time in a college or university program. This program needs to be in counseling or a related field. i.e. Human Services, Social Work, etc.
Affiliate: Individuals whose interests and activities are consistent with those of KAAP, but who are not qualified for Professional Individual or Program Membership.
Professional Program Administrator: This membership is open to any organization engaged in addiction or prevention focused programming.
