Join us for the Kansas Association for Addiction Professionals (KAAP) Symposium!

Join us Friday, October 16th for the KAAP Fall Symposium, a full day of dynamic, in-person learning, connection, and professional growth. We will begin at 9:00 AM at the Hutchinson Regional Medical Center (1701 E. 23rd Ave, Hutchinson, KS 67502) for an engaging day designed specifically for addiction professionals across Kansas.

Speaker Bio:
Christina Boyd, LSCSW, LCAC

Associate Professor of the Practice KU School of Social Welfare
Christina is a clinical social worker as well as a clinical addictions counselor who has worked in the behavioral health field for over 30 years. She is currently an Associate Professor of the Practice for the University of Kansas School of Social Welfare and serves as the Liaison to Rural Communities. She is a collaborating faculty member with KU Medical Center Project ECHO. She is a master trainer for the ATTC network and serves as a content expert on prevention and treatment with the Opioid Response Network State Targeted Response. She continues to reside in Western Kansas and is passionate about equity of health resources in rural areas as she continues to pursue her mission of helping people find their happy.
