Join us Thursday, April 16th for the KAAP Spring Symposium, a full day of dynamic, in-person learning, connection, and professional growth. We will begin at 9:00 AM at the Jayhawk Tower (700 SW Jackson Street, Topeka, KS) for an engaging day designed specifically for addiction professionals across Kansas.
Our morning session will feature Emily Swanzy, MA, KS-LCAC, LCPC, ASAM 4th Edition Criteria, Treatment Placement & Clinical Documentation, who will provide practical insight into ASAM 4th Edition Criteria, treatment placement, and strengthening clinical documentation.
In the afternoon, we’ll welcome Lisa Charlson and De’Andrea Chatmon for an impactful presentation:
“From Awareness to Action: Trauma-Informed Care Across Individual, Organizational, and Community Practice.” This session will challenge and inspire attendees to move beyond understanding trauma to actively implementing trauma-informed strategies in real-world practice.
Lunch will be on your own, giving you the opportunity to network with colleagues and explore downtown Topeka.
This is a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with peers, gain valuable continuing education, and refresh your practice this spring. We are looking forward to seeing everyone there!
